Reading a chapter from a book about “the theming of America” for class, and the author mentions Dolly Parton’s theme park, but he calls it ‘Dollyland’ instead of ‘Dollywood’. Now I can’t take him seriously anymore.

I don’t get why Kelly Rowland never got the career that Beyoncé has.

But honest to god,I’m kinda sick of all the condescending crap “oh it’s nothing,”oh it’s super simple” etc.
I knoww!!! People tend to act like studying languages and even history etc. is as easy and as much work as eating pie. They’re WRONG!
Ikrrr! And the thing is most people don’t even get that studying the language is actually just a part of the whole “linguistics uni education”… There’s the history,the culture and god knows what else.
